Office Manager - NYC

We're looking for a full-time Office Manager to collaborate with our tight-knit team in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping FA’s studio humming, beautiful and organized. You will be influential in shaping company culture and work to create an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration. You will help coordinate schedules and tackle administrative duties for FA leadership and project teams.

About You

  • Positive, energetic, easy-going, and thoughtful
  • Takes initiative; comfortable being self-directed
  • Clear, concise and proactive communicator, written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills; an ability to work quickly with careful attention to detail
  • Proficient with Mac hardware, standard office software and Google Apps
  • Bonus points for tech / IT savviness, advanced spreadsheeting skills, and/or experience with Quickbooks
  • Interest in digital product design, graphic design, software development, or product management a plus

What You’ll Do Once You’re Here

  • Serve as the point person for office duties including, supplies, equipment, maintenance, expenses, and errands
  • Coordinate and track progress against internal initiatives and projects
  • Organize company and cultural events like parties, seminars, and off-sites
  • Executive administrative tasks; book travel, expense reports, coordinate meetings
  • Partner with HR to maintain and reinforce office policies as necessary
  • Formalize and document office workflow and procedures
  • Manage an office budget
  • Office concierge; welcome visitors, answer phones, provide support to guests
  • Assist in the recruiting and onboarding process for new hires
  • Liaise with office management vendors, including cleaning, IT, and security services
  • Help with company storytelling and management of social media accounts
  • Support special or project-specific requests from the internal design team

While previous experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistance is preferred, it is not a requirement.
